it's not the fact that it limits your installs, it's the fact that it has the SecuRom virus. Which I will not install again, it's a pain in the ass to get rid off.

They never learn. Every time they do this, there's a huge outcry, a pile of negative publicity, and they are forced to either remove it or scale way back on it's limitations. Spore took a huge beating over this (although that may have helped overshadow the fact that it was at best a mediocre game).
