Okay, Is Fallout 3 worth spending the money on? I seen that a few who have bought it seem too like it so just thought I would ask.

I have no idea if its the type of game you would like.

Those who love this type of game (single player, rpg style,..) love the game.

Stores are sold out and its getting good reviews.

So it all depends on you and whether its something you find interesting.

It will be worth buying for ME if I get ever get my hands on it

Todd did you like Oblivion? If so it's kind of like that, also if you like the Fallout series then I would say the same thing. It's a 3D RPG that has a lot of freedom. You can play it however you want.

from what I read the game isn't a single way of doing things. While it tries to stear you in certain directions to progress the story line, you still have a good amount of freedom.

Compared to other RPGs where you get a quest, run around, kill something, move on to the next level and rinse repeat.

So you have to like having freedom in a game and not a straight forward way of playing.

But all this is from someone who hasn't played yet

Well I'm not sure if there are any demos out there to try. I do like RPGs and this one is a lot of fun. I can't seem to get enough of this game.

I've seen your style in CoD4 with your Run n Gun, and I doubt you will like this game or any RPG for that matter because it is of a much slower pace.

If you're going to try an RPG then this is the one. It has great RPG elements, character development and open ended play. It has the best graphics engine of any rpg so you may as well start with a pretty one. You can jump in and understand what's going on right away because you understand the concept of little gun/big gun/BIG BIG GUN instead of trying to figure out if you prefer sleep spells or magic missiles.

I haven't played COD4 since I installed it.

Don't listen to Phantom. Johny's first statement is right. There's enough first person shooting mixed in there to make it a very good intro to RPGs.

Okay, I went too gamestop and grabbed a copy and installing it after this post. I will give it a try and see if I will like it and will give you guy's a shout about teaming up for some MP mode if it has it as I never checked too see if it had MP.
