Spore!!!!!

This games pretty entertaining! Only problem is once you're done with a stage you're done with it permanently... and it's annoying trying to get started in space stage but after that it's very fun and interesting.

Only problems I have is the creatures people make. It automatically downloads other peoples creations, and a lot of immature people like to create body parts. I was fighting off an army of penises in Tribal stage. I'm sure there is a way to turn it off... but that'd stop me from seeing some real good creations people have made.

Also, it's kind of... not really evolution. You go around and find body parts and can use it. Doesn't matter if you live near the coast, in the mainland, at high elevation, or low elevation... you can be anything. Also you cannot be a fish (unless you stay in cell stage forever), instead you get eaten by a big one. Also it's very annoying hearing a lot of the languages of the aliens.

Other than that it's really fun, especially if you're interested in space. You're in the milkyway galaxy and can search for Earth and colonize it!! (problem is, it's about 1/10000000 it's realy size, and the moon covers the whole sky. My creature when in holographic form can walk to Oregon from Idaho in 1 step).

I personally love terraforming molten rock planets and balls of ice into terraformed 3 planets

Can't say I would advise anyone to buy it unless they were addicted to The Sims.

Or addicted to space. I don't really see the sims in this though? Only thing I really dislike is you don't have the thrill of being a prey. Things will attack you (only really in hard mode), but that's if you get too close. And they give out a warning growl. I just wish there were more options to sneak around, hide, and pounce or be pounced.

I took one of the creators from my home planet, and place it on planet and they just died there, kinda cool and funny..

Sims hmm nah miles away. Is not like go and find a date or dreaming about her or other stuff. I'm also in space too but not playing anymore at the moment.. Waiting for COD5 now and Left 4 dead demo (got it as a gift)..then buy it..if it is good..

I think I spent 2-3 days playing this and uninstalled.

The game was not nearly as revolutionary as it was marketed to be. The concept was great, but they didn't deliver.

Once I got by Tribal, things were just a very very simplyfied RTS game. Space was pretty cool, but it got really repetitive after I allied with a few classes and exterminated a few others.

Overall, I'd give the game a 6/10

When I say the people who like the Sims would like this game it's because the Sims had very simplistic game model but the point of the game was to play house. They would spend hours just buying lamps and stuff for the house. Or 10 expansion packs so their little people could have a disco room or whatnot. Spore isn't much more than that. The difference is that instead of messing with decor it's "Ooh, maybe I'll stick an extra leg over here. Oh, that's so cute!"

There's no game here. It's just playing dress up. As far as game play goes all the things that are draws for Spore have zero effect. You may have the most tricked out tank in the game but an unpainted box with a gun on it does the same thing. A guy on 2 legs runs as fast as a guy with 8.

Sims - Bad game but lots of people liked playing dress up. Spore - Bad game but lots of people like messing with the creature creator. And you can't lock people in a room with no doors, toilet, food but just an expresso machine and watch them starve and wet the floor.
