League of Legends (DotA-like Game)

I haven't tried this game yet, but from what I understand it's identical to DotA, the custom map game for Warcraft III and created by the same developers of DotA, with the exception that this is it's own game, not a map for Warcraft.

Okay, so not completely identical, I don't think the heroes you play as are exactly the same. But maybe worth checking out? I'm gonna download it and see for myself.

First of all. Happy Birthday! Secondly, a co-worker of mine was on the original closed-beta version of this and essentially it is the same as Dota and a few heroes were migrated into it as well. But yes, it is it's own game and the effects of it are AWESOME! Better bottom of screen hud thingy and key strokes are very user friendly. Game design and character design are sweet as hell. I can't wait until they get picked up from someone and get to make a higher end game, storyline/campaign I mean.

Yeah I play this game like crazy, have pretty much every hero by now (cept the two new ones that just released yesterday)

Games pretty fun if you like Dota.

Few things that make me made about it:
1) Cannot quit, just simply cannot play another game if you have one in progress. you enter one you have to finish it. - and cannot surrender until 25minutes, thats just bad. Yeah it stops rage/quits, but still stupid annoying.

2) No ranked matchs, still

3) Sometimes (a lot) the match-maker won't work

Besides that the game is pretty fun, especially if you play with freinds, and even more-so once you get good with a hero and go 30-2-10 (ss to prove, goto love Yi )

I just started (lvl 6), was a little leery at first from being put off from this style after trying Heroes of Newerth when it first started... And dealing with raging kids in every match...
