      I didn't think I'd say something like this about a shooter... but it's too fast paced and I can't keep up. This game is for 12 year old hyperactive children. And why doesn't it have melee? I want my melee.

        yea it is really fast paced. I played yesterday for the first time. I was on the top of the kill list for my team on the first round...

          Meh, you're just gettin slow in your old age. Wait till you get as old as Apache. May not be any Sun by then.

            At this point it is a bit slower-paced than UT 2004 (the one UT to rule them all).

              UT 2004 was very fast paced, especially compared to CS.

                        Yeah it is a little slower, the weapons are a bit more relaxed than 2004.
                        The delay between loading complete of the rockets and the firing has got me a few times...

                            Yeah hold down loads 3, press left during will load them as grenades and punt and not shoot them

                                Well, finally for a pre-Alpha there is the beginning of an interface that works pretty well (see photos). The movement and weapons are still much like UT3, which I thought was a big downturn in the franchise. Damned "competetive gamers". The alt-fire arcs and distances on the Flak and Bio Rifle are still unsatisfying. Too much like an aging porn star trying to pull off a big money shot and can't quit hit the mark.

                                I mostly can't hit squat very well because I still play 2004 and Unreal but still, for a pre-Alpha, it's not too bad.
