Anything Great out there coming?

We have Fallout and Far cry, are they FPS games?
How do they stack with CoD5/WAW ?
How do they compare as single player?

Is there something coming at Xmas or soon after that will be more of what CAIN wants to host?

Far Cry 2 and Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway are supposed to be good in single player. I haven't seen any real obvious team shooters on the horizon to bring the whole Lair back into one game. Maybe Black Mesa: Source will have a good MP aspect or Fear 2.

I honestly believe from the release schedule i've seen that we don't have any major MP games getting released soon. At the moment it's WaW or nothing.

Fallout 3 isn't MP or a FPS but it's a heck of a lot of fun.

Another vote for Fallout 3 .. I'm at 50 hours into it and still going. There is such variety to what you can do its absolutely amazing.

Want to collect Nuka Cola Quantum bottles spread out over Washington DC ? Go for it.
Want to mine and an entire town overnight, then wait for the town's citizens to go boom when they go outside in the morning ? Hell yea !!
Want to build your own weapons such as the flaming sword known as the Shiskabob or fire Mini-nukes at Super Mutants ?? Check

My current favorite thing to do is use the VATS targeting system and target and shoot grenades out of the hands of baddies tossing them at me. BOOM !!!

You can even trigger and attend a wedding between individuals on an aircraft carrier. Bizarre stuff, but its all in this game.

I unfortunately missed out on the fractured history of Abe Lincoln by the anti-slavery guys before I helped them retake the Memorial. I'm going to listen to a conversation between guards at the Citidel when I get a chance, and I loved hearing Abraham Washington's "history" lessons on the carrier.

I saw a screenie from a reviewer who had been collecting teddy bears and dropped them on his bed in his house. Makes me wish I had been picking the things up all along.

Speaking of teddy bears I found a HUGE on in a satellite center. It was behind a boarded up door are there more of these out there?

The teddy bear factory is out the somewhere. There's about 20 on a conveyer belt and all over the floor. I forget where it is though. I've been collecting the garden gnomes for Casa Rico.

one game that is slated to come out in feb is Borderlands, and is supposed to be like fallout3 with about 950000 more UNIQUE guns, and about 750000 UNIQUE armors, and the entire planet is randomly generated (except for some rare static features) every time you load up the game.
