Medigun vs Kritzkrieg

What is everyone elses opinion/preference on the Medic secondary weapon?

I got the Kritzkrieg unlock last night but not sure I like it, seems almost as useless as the pyro unlock that can't do the airblast.

The wiki states:

• Gives target 100% critical hits for 8 seconds instead of invulnerability.
• Charges ?ber 25% faster than Medigun.

I like the invulnerability better I think.

Well in my opinion I usually do as followed:

Defense: Kritz
Offense: Uber

Of course unless there is a situation that calls the for other, I pretty much automatically switch over.

Got a bunch of baddies on a cart or checkpoint... drop a few crit rockets or grenades and thats that.

I also usually use kritz on def and medi on offense.
It also goes on yout targeted meat shield. Omg, soldiers and heavies with kritz is.......... awesome.
For exemple, to take down many people, MAYBE the kritz is better, but for sentries and stuff, medi is the way to go. It'll also depend on the other docs on your team and their weapon =O

Forget a heavy with Kritz.... Try a Demoman....

Both are really good. Good medics can toss both on you at the same time which is super awesome.

As for which to use when, it's really situational. An area where there's a small pass or I know people are most likely to uber, I'll counter uber. When there's a good distance I'll go for the kritz.

I can usually "snipe" snipers with a kritz from a decent range which isn't too bad on the mini gun and practically annihilate anyone not ubered who is close.

Kritz tends to be the better choice since you really don't need to focus too much on coordinating an attack versus pop it and go at em.

Kritz all the way, you can take out whole teams with a kritz in seconds with a demo or heavy, forget you soldiers 4 shots is not enough.

Only thing uber is for is sentry's and a spy or a good demo can handle that

And on stock servers critzing a heavy and killing 1/2 their team = victory.
