Have a good one everyone. Might be on TF2 later tonight. Got a new 1 TB hard drive for Xmas and now finally have Win7 on my desktop. Therefore, all my Steam games are reinstalling. Plus, I bought Borderlands!

I think if I recall correctly, you just install Steam on your new system and log in. You'll be able to reinstall all your games from the my games tab.

But here's the catch: you need to make sure you have a backup of your Steam folder so you can put your saves and profiles back into place when it's done reinstalling.

Or if you have enough space just back up the complete Steam Folder, including your game files. Then copy them to the new hard drive in a Steam Folder and install Steam. Copy and paste them to the new location. This saves you from having to redownload the files.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
