I'm not mixing anything up. The MOTD changed in the past 2 weeks. That's all there is to it. I have a few people that noticed it also. But w/e. It's not like I would have noticed, being as I uploaded the background to fix it or anything. But yeah. Like I said, w/e.

VITO made the graphic back when we ran TF2 the first time and it only allowed 24 players max, but we modded the server to hold 32.

BTW Vito, we probably need to make a newer graphic now that 32 player servers are the norm.

I took action to mute both Sean and Building Pyramids because both of you not only violated our guidelines, but you both seemed to take special effort to do so. During that round, I just sat back and listened to the chat for some time as the teams has just shuffled on the map switch. Pretty shortly after the round started, you both slipped into cursing.

I make a special effort to pour my coffee in the morning without scalding myself, not to start shouting out profanities on a regular basis. Nor do I recall playing with you on Goldrush, or receiving any warnings for supposed foul actions. From previously being an administrator for a server generally visited by kids, I don't go out of my way to peeve off admins as I never enjoyed being provoked which I can assure you was not what I was attempting to do in this instance.

I sincerely do not recall any such warnings in the chat prompt, or voice chat, although I will admit the text box isn't something I generally look at whilst playing, especially when respawn is near instantaneous. I certainly do not recall any 'homophobic' talk, unless, "Oh thank god you saved me. I love you broski" is considered as such.

Regardless, this seems to be some sort of misunderstanding. I'm sure we've all been on those servers run by power-crazy 12 year olds, and since I enjoyed the servers I wanted to come make a little post on the forums to see what the community is all about. Thanks for the replies Cain and folks.

Being an Admin is a HUGE PITA, but they do it because they love the place.

Wow this got huge. Allow me to first thank everyone for their response, although I admit, I didn't read all the little posts, I don't have that big of an attention span. Rand was the admin on duty and if I didn't make this clear let me do so now, I don't have any problem with his muting of myself. I'm pretty sure I was cussing up a storm, honestly it happens a lot, as I said in the first post, there isn't much of a filter there for me. All I was wanting was to simply get a list, of words that aren't allowed. Honestly I know this can be hard to do, so many words, loopholes and whatnot, its tough to get a defined set of words you would not like to hear on the server.

Another thing, I know how tough it is to be an admin, in fact the three of us do. We were all Admins of our community, myself being head admin to boot. We all know the grey area and the "PITA" (haha I like that) it can be to enforce rules, obviously my situation fell more towards the black but Sean I believe was more towards the grey.

Going forward I shall try to keep myself underlock, I should be fine seeing as I don't use to much voice comms in pubs unless I'm playing with Sean and he isn't in my mumble/vent.

We have always been about bending over backwards, and walking softly. There is no heavy handed admin's here.. Nope.

think PG13. most of the "bad" words that are used on TV after 9pm(thats the time here not sure if its the same in the US) are in the catagory of not allowed.
best way about it is if it might offend someone else dont say it, there is a period of time between pushing the key too talk/type that you can "filter" what you are going too say.
i once had a conversation with someone because there was no cursing in an M rated game and the simple answer was it may be illegal to sell things with an age restriction to those below the restriction but it isnt illegal to play/veiw them.
