Whats up guys
I have stopped by the server once or twice but never really got the feeling of loving the game like I did dods, or the cod series. I think the sniper is pretty tight, and the spy is cool but i usually can only get 1 backstab before i die. Any tips and tricks for this game. I want to get serious about this game but just cant find the right class right now. I will be on this weekend so hopefully i can go on the server sometime. Maby i just need to play it more. Hope to see some old faces besides Juneau afk

If you are old like me and don't aim very well, pyro or medic are your best bets for a class ... just kind of point in the general area and you'll get your target.

WT started a good tips sticky here, has lots of good tips. Apache's is my favorite and always works ("Kill the other guy first.").

you should play a little more, i didnt really like it too much too start with and im no good at the spy either (most of the time i get spoted before i do anything at all ) but ive played all the classes and i play mostly pyro or engi occasionally scout and sniper(now that i have the huntsman). the other classes i play if my usual ones arnt working out too well.

Kriotek needs a grenade he can arm for a delayed blast.
I hated this game when I first played it. Now I find it fun and look forward to playing. I also was not a fan of BF2 the first few times I played it. Sometimes you have to give yourself time to understand how to play a game before you decide wether you like it or not.

lol, if P0002q is on the opposite team of me and heavy i almost always have to go sniper just to slow his rampage down.

one piece of advice that I'll give is that you should try every class a bunch of times. Many of them don't get really fun to play until you get some unlocks (such as spy). I will say that for some people there is no "right" class. While i played a lot of pyro when i first started, thats because it was the easiest to use without unlocks. Now that I have nearly all of the unlocks I switch classes a lot. The only class that I would not suggest for getting into this game is scout. Its real hard to get kills with the scout, and if theres a lot of people on the server, the explosives spam will get you every time.

Make sure you select the advanced option so that you can continue to heal whoever you have selected after you have let go fo the mouse button- it saves on your digits not to have to hold the button down.

I'll be the first to admit that i sucked big time when i started to play this game. As with most games there is a learning curve, some classes more than others (ie spy), but once you get the hang of it it's great fun.

Oh and i'll have you know i'm never afk...................... damn you afk kicker!!

How do you setup this advanced option for medic Hammy? I'm playing as medic a lot lately.

he's been sniping as of late. careful though, he'll go spy and stab you in the back if you make him mad.

i like all the classes, and switch it up between pretty much all of them aside from scout. i think i have 1hr total on scout, lolll.

what i dig about tf2 is that it's fairly balanced(less range on eyelander plz, don't make me bottle you!)

it's actually made by the dod:s team. there's a lot of similarities in how it... feels.

being medic is funnnn. you get a feel for dodging, that's for sure. once you get in a few successful uber runs, you'll be feeling pretty good about yourself, but don't get too cocky! never underestimate your enemies, and overestimate your abilities.

cloak and dagger is pretty much the best spy item, currently. i don't rely on disguises, and moreso go for just... not being seen. i'm definitely not a good spy by any means though.
