    Crafting...

Okay...apparently I don't read for comprehension. I've been looking over this site and I've managed to create one refined metal. Unfortunately I didn't need that to do what I want to do. I want to create a force-a-nature since I can't seem to get one to drop. Now that I realize why I'm not getting it done I thought I'd post the site and see if anyone else has any crafting tips/tricks/stories they want to share.

I smelted Natascha accidentally and it took forever to get it to drop again.

Apparently I need to make three more refined metals and a pyro class token to try to make the "respectless rubber glove" hat.

You actually need FOUR refined metals and the token to get a RANDOM class hat

Every time a player plays for 25 minutes the game randomly draws a decision for the player. If the player is lucky (20% per item chance) then they will get a randomly chosen weapon or item. If the player is unlucky, then they receive no item that time. There is a separate timer that counts every 15,430 seconds (4 hours, 17 minutes, and 10 seconds) you have a 3.5714% chance of receiving a hat.
            112 weapons = (36 Scrap metal = 12 Reclaimed Metal = 4 Refined Metal) + 4 weapons
thats a long time too make a single class hat by crafting.

so far i manage to crafted 2 Refined metal and 6 class token outta the 9 classes.

im just gonna go with 3 Refined metal and get any random hat instead of 4 Refined metal and a class token which you get a specific hat for that class. it just two much.

It's been theorized that the new hats released earlier in the week may factor into the class token system, so that instead of a 1-in-3 chance of a class-specific hat, you get a 1-in-6 chance of a class-specific hat.

I hope that's not true; none of the new hats interest as much as say, Rick's Fixative, the glove, fire helmet, Trophy Belt or Panama.

I got the Panama hat and I really don't see the big deal. It's just a lightly-colored version of the regular

There's no big deal so far as I can tell either. It would simply be a sniper hat where I previously have none.

Schweet!! I was able to craft a force-a-nature this morning...yay me! Been wanting one for a while...now just have to learn to use it effectively.

Most people don't use the Force Jump but it's one of the more compelling reasons to use the Force of Nature. The basics of it is jump forward and aim slightly down with the FaN and shoot aas you jump. You will pop straight up into the air to about the same height at the tunnel roof in Badwater. Then you still have your second jump of the double jump to use. If you are close to someone, you can just disappear with all that height and then a random direction jump after the popup.

Since the server is player on Badwater and Goldrush all the time now, there are just too many places on Badwater to list. You can get onto the sniper rocks on the far right (and bash Freaktion over the head with your metal bat). Jump to the ledge right above the tunnel entrance and flank the people guarding the right. Jump to the sign then jump to the roof near cap 2. Before cap 3 you can get to the upper levels from the ground.

For Goldrush on stage 1 you can jump right into the building before cap 1. Best is jumping into the building at cap 2 where all the snipers hang out. Then take a free 2 shot instakill on each sniper. Stage 2 and 3 have a lot less fun possible.

There's also the triple jump to clear long distance. Just double jump and shoot directly down when you start losing altitude. Blasting people away from the cart works nicely. Also you can push people into harms way when they are loitering behind the battle lines. Get right behind them and they will go flying.

You can also shoot people with the Force of Nature and kill them, but I haven't tried that one yet.

Are you talking about the flare gun? That's one of the Pyro unlocks (it replaces the shotgun)

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
