    schedule a maintenance update for Prime Time? 6 PM to 9 PM Pacific Time.

      Well if they work like me, you try avoid busy times for that reason, busy.
      Only time I ever drop a server is if well, its critical!

      Possibly a major issue they are fixing.

        it also depends on where the folks that decided the time are in the world.
        cos in other parts of the world it wasnt prime time at all like here in the uk it was in the late am so it could have been someone here in te uk that decided the time.
        (who knows im just guessing lol plus i saw the maintenence message and it had PST in it not GMT)

          steam did said that games that do not rely on Steam matchmaking services should remain playable. so people could have joined the server but no one showed up. was that the case?? i was out last night so couldn't make it. plus i dont think it was that bad considering us East coast people would have been from 9-12pm DT. tho i only play till 8pm so it would of not affect me at all. i bet people from west coast would of been raging.

            I was able to play, but I wasn't able to use any of the optional equipment.
