I wondered about the decloak speed also, notwithstanding accelerated footage, but went back on one of the first cases a couple of times. He's decloaking as soon as he starts to move, it's just a bit difficult for the viewer to make out.

I'm a terrible spy also. I don't know why but i die after every good action i do. So if i backstab somebody there is always somebody close by to kill me afterwards. The same goes if i successfully sap someones buildings.

Key is knowing where to hide, but not do it twice in a row. If you backstab, you need to know that there are no other enemies nearby. Hide by a doorway, when a guy runs by, peek around the door he came thru, then tail him and stab away.

Spy is a real challenge to play correctly. A very good one breaks a defensive stalemate and causes mass confusion. It takes serious patience, but I just can't devote 3+ minutes to just watching enemies stroll by before planning my move.

The guys that can wait that 3+ minutes are the ones that are amazing to watch.

Well you can be patient or learn to facestab where you walk straight at someone, turn the corner and stab.

Once you sap an engi's stuff your pretty much bound to die, i usualy kill the engi sap his stuff then get pyro'd or somethin

I've tried spy.. I royally hurl.

Lately though, BOTH sides have been LOADED with spies, 2-4
on both. Since we needed other types, spy got put on the back burner again. (No pun intended, hehehe)

I'll try spy again when we aren't going nuts with overloads of spies.
