I was never able to use the flaregun well so switched back to shot gun... I'll give it another chance. That when I was a young, green pyro.

Actually used the flare gun last night, and actually hit someone.

I cannot switch to diff guns/axe anywhere as fast as the video. I wind up dying when I tried to go for Axe to finish some off. Guess it just takes practice.

Make sure you have "Fast Weapon Switching" enabled in the Advanced settings.

you need to adjust for angle too-
flares back people up.

suspect on the missile blowbacks though...
