Client Time Out disconnects

Got three of these in the past 20 minutes and I saw others get disconnected by this as well. Not sure if it's steam or the server.

Happened to me about 4 or 5 times... was able to reconnect right away but I played engi mostly... so all my stuff blew up each time I got disconnected.

It's cleaned me out twice so far. I had a charged medic lined up when the last one happened.

Try this...

in the tf2 menu, go to options-multiplayer-advanced, scroll to the bottom, and uncheck the "Synchronise with Steam Cloud" checkbox.

It keeps clearing the server out yet i'm fine. I wonder if being out of the US is helping me?

Just happened to me.

i was on a different game(mod) yesterday and i keep getting client time outs non stop. it wasn't just tf2 for sure. its definitely on every game that runs thru the steam servers.
