As per medic'ing, you should read my intro thread, I have a tip in there for medics you may want to see. (Yes, my intro was 10% about me and 90% tips.)
I'll check it out. I've been playing TF2 since '07 regularly. I'll see what's to gain.

One point about switching teams. If the server is full or the teams are even, you are not able to switch, unless you can convince someone on the other team to spectate first.

Where do you put the Bayonet?

Cant say i've noticed this and you have to realize there are very little rules on what you should do to wear the CLR tag

Welcome and thank you for the feedback !!

I have looked into the scramble plugins but from talking to other server admins, players are constantly calling for scramble votes and often the scrambled teams get even more imbalanced causing more scramble votes and so forth.

I keep looking at those plugins tho and have never ruled one out.

Just thought of another possible request...

                  sv_allow_wait_command 0

                  Reasoning:
Disabling the wait command prevents advanced bot-like scripting, requiring the user to use their skills at playing rather than skills at programming. This is disabled on competition servers solely for that reason. It does not prevent -most- scripts, just ones in which a timer is required (like autosapper, scout-fleeing with 1 button double jump in random directions, auto-spin-then-strafe, etc).

Excellent Points made here. Nobody likes getting Steam Rolled
I usually jump into whatever free slot is available BUT

I will make more of an effort to look at the teams and switch up, the bad part is ...

It may have the reverse effect !! HA

Today I think I've figured out a reason that many (not all) regulars tend to imbalance teams. This may sound whiny, but its not intended as such.

Is the negative points applied as intended? A fairly high points player (I was over 20k) who randoms or takes the losing team for the challenge and to help balance things out stands to lose 50 points if they are killed by a newbie on the strong team, yet can only get 23 points for a run of 5 kills, 3 kill assists, and a crit kill.

A few decent, new players joined the 'stomping team' and suddenly, I dropped several hundred points in just 3 rounds. Many regulars probably use this as an excuse to group up, resulting in stacked odds. If its intended that's fine, I'm just wanting to make sure people are aware of this.

Obviously, I was sticking to the losing team regardless of point loss. I only took note of amount of loss since I had just broken 20k, before falling back down to low 19k. Since its been in place a long time, it would be unfair to change it, but worth noting for future servers, since it might have some impact on the regulars who don't want to join the 'losing team'.

I won't name names, since its not a cheating matter. If it matters to anyone to know who, go watch start of rounds.
