As of lastnight a new phishing scam, which is out to get you to enter your details login etc into a fake steam page has arrisen.

This messages come as IM's from members of your friends list.

A few of our CLR's have already been 'hijacked' by this.
Please be vigalent, and note if its from someone here its likely to be a hijacked account.

If you report someones account to steam they end up losing their account,
instead of it being stolen.

Please do not click links without explination of the content first, and esp if it asks for passwords etc.


Also remember about reporting a user, they may end up with no steam account,
instead of just a stolen one that they are trying to get back.

You shouldn't enter your steam information anywhere other than steam. or steampowered.com. It's a no-brainer.
