I reread an old Maximum PC issue last night that intro'd TF2, and at that time, the Pyro class had some sort of flaming missile attack that was yanked at the end and replaced with the shotty. Its very interesting to read some of the things that were planned but never made it into the game.
I'd love to see the haduken fireball used in some weird way, but you know whats gonna happen ... we'll have servers with 14 Pyros running around. I've been Pyro since Day 1, so it will be annoying for a few weeks after the achievements come out.

That happened for about the month that medic came out, now its all back to normal

I can't wait for the heavy's acheivements... I'm guessing it'll include brass knuckles or a hammer. Or a Chainsaw!!!!

But, if you watch the original trailer, you'll see some weapons that look a lot different from what you've got. For instance, the scout has some kinda powerdrill... and the Soldier has a more RPG-ish look to his rocket launcher.

The Heavy really needs some achievements that reflect the inherent stupidity of the character. Maybe something you earn if you run the wrong way on a map and are the only one trying to attack your home flag.
