Greed is not only a sin, Its fun!

I played a few rounds last night with actual players. Although I got Pwned the Greed game brings up some great tension. Last night we were about 20 points behind and with just a few seconds left a guy scored with enough skulls to put us in the lead.

The only problem I'm having is getting my settings tweaked. I have noticed that certain maps smack my FPS from the 60's to the 20's . I think I will need to find what setting to turn down to maintain a good FPS while still keeping some of the eye candy.

It's too bad there aren't more peeps playing this game.

I will check it out this weekend but i have my priorities set on the cod4 server for a while.

Greed is pretty fun, but I prefer betrayal because it really makes me play cautiously. I agree with you though, it is disappointing that so few people bought this game and still play it.

On one game last night we played Betrayal and I didn't have a clue on how it worked. i really need to take some time and read up on the game types and maps.

Yeah, the first time I played it I hadn't read what it entailed, and I think I ended up in last place, and kept wondering why my team mates were killing me.

I love the game. The problem is that no too many people don't and that a shame because I think there could be a lot had in it.

I have a Greed / Betrayal server (gametype is votable) and would love to have CLRs playing. I PMd Cain to ask if it is ok to post the IP back after the 2.0 patch came out, but he hasn't responded. So, since he is currently not running UT3 I will assume it is okay and post it now:

I played a round on the freeze tag server a while back ant that was pretty cool. It took me a while to figure out that you could thaw people though. I looked for your server last night but it wasn't on the list so I hopped on one that had a few peeps on there. I will try to look a bit more closely for your server Slaughter. I will also look at that video too.

The browser can be spotty at times (or should I say, GameSpy). But I see it listed when I look for Greed or Betrayal.



Yeah, Freezetag is fun. I need to get one of the server advertisements mutators loaded to spit out those facts about thawing and such.

I going to after re download UT3 and L4D on my Steam account now after my son deleted Them both but i should be back up in running in a couple of hours
