1.2 beta patch free for testing?

I'm still using 1.1 and it's even harder to find a full server these days.

So when can we all test the 1.2 beta patch?

Well, these beta patches aren't supposed to be for "all" (even though they often get leaked) which is why they are intended to be released to the admin list for testing on their servers and with their players.

So, if you knew someone running it you might be able to get a copy. But remember, it's still beta and there are probably bugs and it could mess up your game.

Yeah we wouldn't want to take a chance and mess up our UT3 any more than it is

I'm not hearing good things about this patch, so I'm holding off for now.

The latest beta version (4) is shaping up pretty well for this round of bug fixes and "enhancements" and could be out as the official 1.2 patch soon. Post on the admin list (Feb 15):

Holler if you find a showstopper in beta 4. We'll give it at least 24 hours, but we're getting that "it's the one" tingle :-)

There are still some of us 'refugees' playing and we are trying to schedule a regular night if any others are interested.

Even server admins are worthless without players.
