The time had finally come to play vehicle CTF and we did it in a huge fashion with the level named Suspense. The map is huge with two bases linked by a massive suspension bridge with a river down below the bridge (that's where the Redeemer is). The human-based vehicles were being used for both sides; the smaller but fast wheeled vehicles like the Scorpion, the much larger tank ground vehicles, the fast hovercraft the Manta, and the larger air vehicle the Raptor.
The only demo map I'm really looking foward to playing is VCTF-Suspense just to see how the Axon vehicles have changed from UT2K4.

Personal opinion is if you have to choose one, take VCTF. There will be opportunity for ground fights, and it'll also have vehicles, so it provides a compromise between hardcore DM/CTF guys and hardcore ONS guys ("Flags? What's a flag?").
ShangriLa is the standard DM map, HeatRay is DM but includes a Darkwalker spawn, VCTF has all the Axon vehicles (except Cicada and Levi), hoverboards and CTF objectives.

I know very little about this game, at present.
You will get a good idea of what UT3 is all about from these hands-on previews:
Unfortunately no Warfare. However, an Epic employee posted on their forums that vCTF should give a good indication as to CPU resources needed for running WAR on a server.
I've been Alpha and will be Beta testing the Delta Force game. It's been really getting good reviews! Definitely a good Battlefield feel to it like the...
