As part of an ongoing process to 'merge' all our 3 domains into one
we have put in place as of now the following:
[Phase 1] (11/20/2009)
Adjustments to:
- subscriptions and site settings
- images
- status pages and 'non forum content
to reflect .com
Minimal effect on site users and external forces.
[Phase 2] (07/03/2010)
All .org and .net references in posts and signatures are changed automatically
to point to .com
Clean up any left over settings and links to dON
Massive effect on site users and external forces, due to url rewrites changing locations.
[Phase 3.1] (11/02/2010)
Redirect all traffic from dON sites to dC while maintaining visiting location.
Notify users of what has happened.
[Phase 3.2]
Removal of message, and redirect gracefully and transparently.
Phase 3.1 is currently in effect.
All users are advised to use cainslair.com in the future.
Accessing via a non www address and IP is still allowed,
and are unlikely to be effected or restricted in the future.
Phase 3.2 will take effect after the 1st of January 2011.
Please be sure to use a .com address, and alter any bookmarks where needed.
We apologise for any hassle this causes, but you can also imagine the issues and burdens this will lesson on our end.
