        Yea I read this yesterday....it was obvious from day 1 that legal fees were going to out-weigh the return on settlement....it was dumb of them in the 1st place to try and go after all these ppl

          You know sooner or later the RIAA will figure out the recording artists don't need their so called help.

            They already figured it out. As soon as Radiohead released In Rainbows as a download only, independently distributed album at literally whatever price the buyer decided it was worth, it changed the entire record industry. They probably had mass apoplexy when they saw how successful it was.

            What they're doing now is trying to figure out how to hold on to what they have left before it's all gone.
