The wife and I had one of those rare nights tonight that happens about once a month/every six weeks where the kids are elsewhere and we have some time to ourselves.
So we decided to go out to eat at O'Charley's. My wife is always on my case about trying something different but I know what I like and always order the same thing. I don't like change.
The waitress came to take our order and I ordered what I usually order:
The big ass $17.99 ribeye, medium... loaded baked potato... salid with thousand island.
"We don't have any Thousand Island," the waitress replied.
"Oh, are you out?"
"No, we don't serve it anymore."
Me
She showed me the list of dressings on the menu and sure enough... Thousand Island wasn't on the list.
I told her that this was upsetting and I plan on e-mailing corporate when I got home. I ended up getting southwestern ranch... was acutally pretty good but not as good as my thouand island.
So, I was already in bed tonight and the wife just asked me, "Did you e-mail O'Charley's?"
I had to get out of bed, boot the computer back up and look for contact info on their website. Unfortunately, I don't see a method of e-mailing them so I'm going to call them on Monday.
I'm posting this and asking for your assistance in helping me bring Thousand Island back to O'Charley's.
If you could phone or fax them and tell them you are shocked and appauled at the removal of a very popular and delicous salid dressing from their menu I would greatly appreciate it.
I'm on a crusade now to bring it back.
