You shouldn't be worried in the slightest.

A measure of worry is always good, because it leads to caution and detracts from arrogance. This is and should be a massive wake-up call to certain parties of the U.S. who have a disproportionate level of belief in our "inherent" superiority in all things.
There are scenarios where China won't give a moment's thought to their economy before taking military action of some sort--Taiwan formally declaring independence being foremost on that list.
To DougBob's point, yes, it looks a lot like the F-22, but it's got a lot of elements of Russia's stealth fighter in it, particularly with the tail assembly and engine area and the forward canards. The canards alone mean it won't be nearly as stealthy as the F-22, but it could well be more maneuverable. The Su-27 variants that include that canard outfly everything we have but the -22 if you put equal pilot skill in the cockpits. And this Chinese bird is BIG. Really big.
I would bet money on this--in addition to an attempt to catch up to the U.S. in air superiority, they're going for a stealthy ship-attack capacity in another part of their overall plan to leverage American military weaknesses. They're trying to beat the Aegis system and massively upgrade their carrier attack ability. This will help them there via the stealth profile (and nobody knows where they are with stealthy materials technology) and a larger weapons bay for longer-distance air to surface missiles.
The last factor for now is that if you read the articles out there you can see there are hints that the Pentagon is a bit taken aback by this thing. It's a couple years early. Keep that in mind when you see the press spokesmen telling us it can't possibly be operational until 2017+.
I've long thought China would be a very dangerous competitor to us by 2020, both economically and militarily. This thing continues to support that timeline.

P.S. On the technology front, China's industrial and military espionage rivals Russia at the height of the Cold War. And remember the spy plane they had for some time a couple years ago? That thing single-handedly increased their technology in certain key levels by a decade or more as they had weeks to analyze it.

I remember the Ruskies suddenly had a new Air-to-Air missile being produced. They reverse engineered one of ours, even down to the last screw (one of which had left hand threads for no real reason, that was copied as well). Wouldn't be surprised that China was working hard on slurping up secrets.
Russian engines are typically bigger than US power plants because they are less efficient normally.
