    Yeah, yeah, I know the LHC isn't going to destroy the world, but the title is a lot more fun that way

        Well, at least now they know they should make it more secure. But I wonder what would happen when a suicidal hacker learns about this...

          Academia is where hackers go for easy meat. Typically the IT staff is underfunded and over worked and machines are not allways properly secured.
