Seems like its happening again. People haven't confirmed a gun man, but depending on which report you read, some say there was gun fire, some say explosions. But with over 40 cops on site, many running around, multiple ambulances and the fact that they are telling people to stay in the school, securing a perimeter in the underground accesses to the building, things are not looking good.
I have a cousin who lived through the shooting at Dawson College in September of last year, and I have many friends (and cast members) who go to this university, which is 5 blocks from my work.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed....

MONTREAL - Montreal police are investigating reports there were explosions or gunfire at the Universite de Quebec at Montreal, where the education pavilion is under lockdown.
"Sounds were heard, that sounded like gunfire," said Francine Jacques, the director of communications at the university. Jacques told LCN, an all-news network that she didn't hear the shots or explosions herself. She also said that people have been told to stay inside.
According to the receptionist in the education department, ambulance technicians and police officers were searching the building.
A Montreal police officer at one of the entrances to the University of Quebec at Montreal Thursday, after explosions or gunshots sounds were reported.
She says she heard no shots or explosions but has been advised to stay in her office. She was unable to say how many students are still in the building.
"For security reasons, the education building is temporarily closed," said a statement on the university website. "A security perimeter has been set up. Police are inspecting the building, no one is hurt."
"We have no evidence of gunfire so far," said Montreal police spokesman Const. Raphael Bergeron.
"We have found a bag that could lead us to believe objects that could serve as weapons could be inside the university but we have for now found nothing to confirm this," he added.
"People will be gradually evacuated from the (science and education) building as the situation permits."
Police say at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday there were reports of a blast and calls were made to 911.
A female student at the scene told LCN that "all we heard was the message telling us to stay where we were and that it was an emergency situation."
"After the first message, no one really reacted but then people were curious so a big group went down the stairs by the library. Everyone was getting calls from their families and calling friends to be sure they were OK in the pavilion."
Police are investigating at the downtown Montreal campus but have found no traces of blood, victims or suspects.
