I love the fact that it's factory oc'd that way i can ship it back to them under warranty if something happens.......

            and yes, Laziness FTW

I always thought you could overclock any eVGA card and still have it covered by the warranty.

You can. That is one of the great things about EVGA. In my experience, though, you won't get much more than the factory OC unless you replace the heatsink with an aftermarket one. I have a 8800GTS that I was able to OC from 576 to 621. Not really much of an increase.

I recognized a long time ago that BA is smarter than I, and I waited for this conversation to end so that I would know what to do.

Proof? I have that PNY Geforce 9600 GT that I got for free from a peer here at my company that has Nvidia as his account customer. It has slowed down a bit in less than 6 months of use.

I was wondering why no one put it on here, I knew the answer as soon as this thread started, but honestly it's good proof in conversation by the measure of everyone's comments.

                      Good discussion.

Although I see the additional $50 off that I got is no longer there. Still, big drop with the introduction of the GTX 295.

Has the GTX 295 been released in the UK yet? The day it was announced in the US it was available at NewEgg and others and the discounting began....

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
