Technology Review: Cooling Chips with Thermoelectrics

Interesting technology. I wonder if you'd use it in conjunction with current cooling technology, or if it would take over in the majority of rigs that aren't being OC'd.

Similar to the older style peltiers ? I remember seeing some quality peltiers that had condensation forming on the caps around the heatsink itself !

Condensation on a board = BAD !

No, it uses thermoelectric materials, that actually cool down as electricity is run through them. They'll be located on a chip as anther electronic layer, there's nothing to cause condensation as it's all built in to the chip package.

Peltiers use electricity too, so it is in basic form similar.
