I need a new vid card thats better then the one i have. (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS) Mines starting to go out when im playing a game i can see the particals start showing up. Dont want to spend alot since i dont have much to spend any help would be great.

Thanks for the help guys itll be at the end of this month as i had my AC go out on my car so spent my spare money to get that fixed. Cant live in texas druing the summer with out AC to damn hot.

Here's something I don't see mentioned on this thread yet: do you have enough room in your case for the Nvidia 280 series cards?
Because I don't. Which is why I just picked up a 4870 1gb. I would have had to (buy) and take a Dremel to my HD cage to make a 280 series fit in my case. And I didn't want to do that because I've got a Lian Li that's otherwise very sweet.
