Is there anyway to beef these up a little to help make it play a little better?
I was thinking pick up a gpu a little up spec.
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...d=701&catid=56 ?

    Old stuff-
    - Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L
    - Intel duo E5300 no OC
    - Nvidia 8800gt(x?)
    - Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel (TWIN2X2048-6400)

Atm his happy lappy gets 20fps which for what it is im surprised.

This is a for the future project hehe
Bush has been beaten i know.
Obviously it runs amasing on my pc, but if i can give those old bits a boost im for it

I'm not insane. I'm just overwhelming!

I don't even think that graphics card in the link would do much in fps because the CPU and memory would be your bottleneck.

May end up trying to make a trimmed down version of my pc for him.

Have you checked the stats of your system when the game is running? Is CPU maxed out? GPU? RAM? Always a good base when looking for something to help performance.
