VisionTek is showing off (and hopefully soon retailing) an ATI 3870 X4 card (4 GPU cores on two PCBs !!)that appears to one up the 9800GX2 as the fastest card available for PC power users. Price remains uncertain at this point, but it won't be cheap.

Have to see how it does. The single 2 cores on one board didn't do so well in the MaximumPC testing they did last month if I remember correctly. Good, but not great.

I was hoping for three gullible replies before commenting, but Darth as usual, does his sleuthing and easily spots the obvious in the specs (like the USB dongle hanging off the card wasn't proof enough !!)

Guilty as charged. If you play WoW, they did some pretty hilarious spin offs as well that got attention. like the "Bard" hero class who rocked the monsters to death, or that WoW was coming to an Atari 2600 near you soon!
