Are there any stores here in the U.S. that are shipping the card?

Nevermind checked online and found some stores.

Put the credit card away and nobody gets hurts. (Begins aiming p90 at anyone that approaches the new GTX 280)

Id give it a month or 2 to mature and see how far they can push it with better drivers. And if they cant push them the price should fall hard. At the moment there is some hard competition out there, namely the 9800 GX2 which is basically 2 (g92) cards stuck together. Unless your going to be playing your games at 2560x1600 your not going to really see a huge advantage in frames that can justify the price.

Toms hardware review on the 260/280 cards.

Thats like ... $1,800 .. in video cards there, or I'd guess even more, since they are the water cooling equipped versions of the GTX280. So let's make it an even 2 grand, shall we ???
