Hi guys and gals!
Been gaming on my free time lately and my computer has been generating the blue screen of death or various memory errors within games lately. So, I ran a memory diagnostics test (MemTest86) to look for errors, and to my dismay a list of 58 errors appeared.
And I will be the first to admit that I am extremely new to determining the cause of these problems and solving them. With my "college kid" budget, I'd rather not just buy new RAM unless I knew that would solve the problem.
In short, does anyone have any suggestions that are commonly used to solve these problems? I forget exactly what brand of RAM I have (and I can't seem to find it!
) but I know I've got 2GB of DDR-2. Perhaps I can look a bit more tomorrow after work and see if I can't find specifics. ![Very Happy](https://www.cainslair.com/core/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
