Is the game actually way better than the beta. I know it probably still needs work but the Beta was sort of crappy in some aspects of the game.

The extremely brief amount of time I spent yesterday with it I would say YES. Mostly I was just getting my binds and stuff set up for today, but I did run around for a minute or two and it felt very different.

Same here. How were your fps? Mine seemed like it could be a little low but default res was 1980 x 1020 or so...and I didn't get to play enough after binds to really know.

I felt it was way better than beta, points were tweaked nicely, along with unlocks. I feel lost without my joystick/throttle setup so I'm out of the sky for now... But just you wait!

Well the little bit I did run around all I saw was a solid 60fps. Vsync on of course. Everything High, No AA, medium post AA, Motion blur off, HBAO ON. AF 16x. I run a 2500k @ 4.5, and a 6950 2gb. Oh and res is 1920x1080

I was never able to fly in BC2 with my mouse (instant crash). But I have a joystick that I will try and configure for BF3. I just want to be somewhat competent with the air vehicles.

I just hope that when I get up into the sky, that the airspace is big enough to not just do loops or circles. We need to be able to fly straight to see what's going on.

no problem with that.. you can have a dog fight over areas that others can't even see. Just don't jump out or you die.

THIS! I was flying last night in Caspian and the map felt sooo small! Its really difficult to line up a shot on the ground because as soon as you point down you have to pull up again. This might also be due to my suckienss as a pilot though.

And yeah, this is WAY better than beta. It so much smoother.

One more thing, so you guys don't play with the default key bindings? I generally adapt to them. What do you guys do differently?

I always change all my binds in all games basically. Ive always done it. Depends on the game, because I always try and optimize my binds.

I change everything since I use this.
