I know this is a totally noob question, but how does the VOIP work on the BF4 beta? I have a Sharktoon headset with USB and built in mic I use for xbox Live. Also have a regular mic and headset I could use if I had to. If I plug it all into the PC, is VOIP automatic and intrinsic to the game? Do I have to switch it on with the ALT key when I want to speak? Do I need Team Speak of some 3rd party aaplication? Can you only speak to your squad or to your entire team? Sorry, I have been out of the PC MP loop since BF3 and didnt use voice chat for that game (or for any PC game ever). Thanks.

For some reason in game Voip had never worked for me. But it's supposed to be able to set it up in the options list in game. It is working very well for me. You can remap it though the alt key is the default key for voip. Make sure your mic is on.Comment

For some reason, it did not save my key binding for voice. I like "V" for voice (also what I used in CSGO). I'll have to try again today, I have not been able to put in much time in the beta, I finally might have some tonight.Originally posted by goldenfooler View Post[hlx]

It works fine for me, when I was able to play. After the last update I can not get it to load the map on any server. I uninstalled and reinstalled and will try it again to night. I use mouse 5 for my VOIP key bind.

Works fine for me but I hate how there is onyl one volume control. Sometimes it feels like I'm shouting over the explosions because everything is at the same volume. This had better be changed in the final release.
