Weapons with good open sights

[Dead...Again]

I normally just use either the red dot or x4 scopes on all of the weapons, so I haven't used many of the guns with their open sights. Last night I discovered that the Aug's open sights are pretty good. What other guns have good enough open sights that you can forgo the red dot?

the 16, most of the engineer weapons, M-60, MG3 and m416 in my opinion, but I've not played as long as you folks, so my experience is less than the rest. But this is just my opinion..

the MG3 has the best imo, then some of the assault weapons, and then im finally getting used to the G3, it says it has good accuracy but its really wierd

the mg3 iron sight is terrible it to wide, Go with the pkm its like the g3 or m416 sights but without the cirle around them making it a sniper of a lmg, btw pkm sucks for spray and pray unlike the mg3 but depends on your style

Absolutly the worst open sight is the m14, I lose more targets with that gun then i care to admit.
Dont even get me started on the acog sight either.

M416 is nice, Abakan (or whatever) is similar. MG3, as Sexy says, is wide open and easy for acquisition. I like the Ak74 as well, but that might be less from the sights than from the damage and rate of fire.

I use only iron sights. Guns like the uzi and the UMP have kind of nasty little ones, but with usage the shooting becomes instinctual (and they are both very accurate, even at range)...and with the iron sights one doesn't waste that weapon slot on a scope (I like the lightweight perk, so I can run run run).
