What gold are you currently going for?

Personally I wish the golds were the best weapons in the class (at least for me), it would have made grinding them a lot more worthwhile:

P90
.50 cal
M1014
SAW

While I'm sure everyone has their preferences, I doubt anyone would claim the Uzi is a better SMG than the P90! :P

I still don't know what it takes to get a gold weapon. What do you have to do to get one of the gold? Have so many kills or what?

You have to complete all weapon challenges for all weapons of a class, be it SMG, LMG, Assault rifles etc.

Probably the easiest to get is the shotty.
You only have 2 weapons, so it is doable without killing yourself.

Look at all the assault weapons, and SMG's.
You have to max out kills and headshots on ALL of them in one class
to get the golden slipper.

I've been workng on them, but die alot due to using weapons that
I don't particularly care for.

Actually, LMGs are easier than the shottys. There is only 1 more, and it's a LOT easier to get headshots on the last bullet of a short burst than with any shot of a shotgun. Half the time with a shotty, even if you think you had a HS, enough of the scatter hits the body to just count as a regular kill.

It was taking so long on the pump shotty (admittedly, not playing it exclusively, that I've switched to auto shotty to get that done before going back for those last 70-75 HS I need for headshot 3.

There's an achievement in Shadowrun for the xbox called "Superior System". It's if you can play with the 360 and kill x number of pc players in a round. I love consoles for sports/driving/flying but nothing else.

Call of duty 4 is an awsome game for the PC if you have a great computer. I mean if you have above a 7800 nvidia graphics card, and above 500 processor. but all around I think that this game is better for the xbox 360.

Matt how can you say that when you haven't even played online yet except for the 5 minutes when you made my round go from 0 deaths to 50 deaths?

Oh right you did beat the campaign, but did you beat it on Xbox 360? All you did was play for a little bit on the Xbox 360. I suggest playing both fully, online and campaign, then saying which is better.

I beat the game on tayeke's nice new computer. I am not saying that the game is bad for PC, I just think that th button configuration is the main key in my argument. PC version is nice aswell. However i have noticed exceptionally more servers that have lag on the PC online version.

just finished the AK74u challenge i hate that gun.

it does a freaking awesome red tiger camo though

i am actually good with the mini uzi which surprises me quite a bit i got 8 headshots in my first round with so i should be done in about 3 hours if i stay at around 4-5 headshots a game, which i can do.
