Last night at around 8 PM ET most of you missed getting to play WAW with Cain.

I haven't played at all over the past few days due to trying to setup media portal on my other PC. When i do play... which is usually every night around 9pm EST it's only on Cain's.

I think our main problem right now is people don't have much time to play, even at night (which i find quite odd). And therefore when they do come online, they don't want to jumpstart, or help out on the server when it's 2v2.

I can understand a few people here and there having busy nights due to longer/night shifts. But most people being like this? Highly doubtful.

Don't worry. My htpc project is done now. I'm back to playing.

My wife recently purchased me an Xbox 360 and the games are pretty slick. Plus I have night school every night until 9 and it's mostly empty by then.

I do believe we need to tweak it again, examples are score limit maybe? Time limit? Tank? Adding more maps? I see maps that we don't have on our server regularly filled on others. It's not the maps, and 4-5 maps it not that many.

These are just a few ideas. Oh the other day though someone stated how they had never seen as many CLR's then they did right then, so it's not always empty.

On a side-note, I really think certain perks need to be disable as they ruin the gameplay, but then again I don't use certain perks.

i think it would be a good idea to get feedback from people and tweak the servers like rye just said. because there have been many times when we are playing outskirts with 14+ people having a great time then seelow hits (universally unliked most the time imo) and there are under 4 people left. i think seelow is a great map when there are around 20+ people and if we are having trouble getting there i think it would be a good idea to get removed.

I was just wondering this too? Whenever I log I checkout the lair. If someone is on I join but, since I get home at 8:00 PST most night noone is around

Like Rye said? I think I started the thread asking for feedback and suggesting that we look at tweaks.

The onus is on the population- feedback is important as the admins have already done the guessing game.

Any time that i play WAW, i'm in the server, but lately i have been drawn back into BF2142, and am currently trying to make a medieval strategy game in Java.

speaking of my game, if anyone wants to send me 32X32 pixel images to use they would be greatly appreciated.

Im really sorry i havent been there guys i have had school and a BIG science project to take care of. My parents wont allow me to play on the school days but on friday and the weekends im in. Next week i have 2 days off so i will be there from wednesday night till monday of next week trying to get it populated. Once again im srry if the server has lacked players and i havent been there to play with u guys and try to support it, but i will do my best this weekend.

I dont really have any problems with the maps but i think that a few more maps like courtyard and hanger would be cool to add. Limiting the point average for kills could also help keep people on the server.

Iirc courtyard was the first map to be ditched by us. It kept literally killing the server.

I agree, Courtyard is like Vacant on CoD4. non stop trigger pulls. And almost anywhere you are you feel all the artillery.I really dont care much for that one but everyone has preferences. I wont really call them likes and dislikes, because they are all playable.

What I would really like to see on the weekend, would be Downfall. Thats a cool map in my opinion.But only if you have enough people.Thats why I said what I did about the weekend. Thats when the server is most populated. Wide open and would put the run and gunners at bay. I couldnt do it with my slow self, but others could pick them off from a distance and make them more mindfull of cover. We have some fair snipers in our group so it might force the gunners to opt for a different kit to play and cause them to slow down some.

Yeah june but that was when we were actualy able to get 30 people on the server, i havent seen oer 20 people on in like a week... i havent been on much lately because i've been playing left 4 dead

What's funny is those two maps you mentioned, are usually full maps on other servers. They didn't kill it, what killed is regulars not being able to put up with fast paced gameplay. In my opinion they are great maps, and are more suitable for small server than say a huge map like Downfall.
