Different Game Types?

I have seen it mentioned but this may deserve its own thread.

Not that tdm it isn't fun in its own way, but after playing some wager matches then some domination, I found tdm a bit lower on the excitement scale.
There are two servers and people are not yet locked into their favs, so this seems like the best time to experiment.

Going back to Warhead's idea of mixed mode. I played a few rounds earlier today in a different server, because ours was empty. It turned out to be a mixed mode server. Only played a few for time reasons, but there was hardcore Sabotage, Headquarters and TDM, at least. Warhead joined for a round or two before I had to leave, and it was fun...quite refreshing to have the objectives and not just having to run around blindly or chase the red dots for the 30 seconds the UAV is up.

I've played both demolition and domination (on both hardcore and vanilla), all of which I enjoyed more than TDM.

The most annoying thing to me in TDM is the random spawning, with people always ending up behind you getting easy kills. This makes it turn into a campfest (esp. with hardcore) and it just gets boring. With demolition and domination, the teams spawn together around their objectives, preventing the lame person from getting behind you with a lucky spawn.

That is the same issue we ran into with COD4 and 5. Apparently the masses don't like objective-based play (or playing as a team for that matter)...
