Looks like player kick voting is back and map voting is gone (I hope).

While map-voting looks good on paper, for my servers it has never worked well, and for a competitive server, 60 straight rounds of any map is horrible.

The problem with map voting is this. Guys jon a server because they like a particular map. Lots of folks join the server for that map (like Inferno) and join in the last few rounds. Then when it ends they vote to play it again. Everyone else has already played it for a bunch of rounds. The vote passes and all the people who were playing it already for up to 30 rounds quit because they do not want to play it again.

Or the guys who joined for that map vote to play it again, the vote does not pass now they all quit.

Thank you for getting rid of Dust, Cain. What a lopsided map that is. Last week, I was on CTs and the Ts made a mad rush down the hall for the bomb site. Only two other people were guarding it with me, but I luckily tossed a FB around the corner just before they got there and the three of us mowed almost the entire team down. And all I was using was a pistol (standard Fenris-issue fiveseven).

It's nice to see Season and Mirage. I am also fond of Mill, if you ever take suggestions.

Among less popular maps that I actually enjoy, I love the old maps, prodigy, siege and militia. I don't think they have CS:GO equivalents though. cbble, aztec and italy do though, and I'm crazy, but enjoy those from both teams.

It's the 19th, and it's a Tuesday. I felt like playing CSGO but it won't let me join the server saying "Failed to join session. Please try again later."

There are 8 people in the server, somehow.
