When did they add that outside exit to the bomb room in Nuke, the standard Nuke?

I think it was longer than that. It seems to have been added within a few months of CS:GO being released. I like it. When they removed the original stairs down it made it harder for the T's to plant the bomb in the B bomb site. The original stairs were to the left and behind the outside building.

I know but the original Nuke had an outside entrance. I think it was a Source update that removed it.

I think we were playing nuke SE or some variant. Something about the new stairwell had a problem.... not sure.
The actual change I think happened 3-4 months ago. We just weren't running it.Comment

The custom nuke didn't add the entrance, what it did was change the overhang at the entrance. If you look at the entrance now, there's a small railed off section to look down the stairs. The custom version doesn't have this, but it has a thin ledge around the upper stairs for a T to hide and shoot a CT in the top of the head as they emerge. I remember it well, because I surprised many a person on it.Comment

Either 1.6 or Source had an outside entrance to bomb site B. From the CT Spawn it was to the left back of the outside warehouse.

Welp I replied to this in another thread
Valve did the unthinkable and made a community modification to an official map into the official map. Official De_Nuke is now almost the same as De_Nuke_Fix with Secret to the side of Warehouse. Times they are a-changin'.Comment

Thx Bro, I knew that map had been modified. Our regulars here might be confused because we ran the ve_fix version, because the official map did not have the outside secret entrance, making it almost impossible to plant the bomb.Comment
