That's the other thing - I've played on some pretty busy servers and never saw anyone else. Although yesterday I finally read that the buzzing flies are from a dead player near by. Maybe it's because I avoid all the cities and travel far in land.

this is exactly why. If you want to find more players stay near the coast and frequent the big cities. My character has been alive for a couple days now, but i think i'm about to kill him, i'm in the middle of nowhere, losing blood with no bandages, and i can barely see, goodbye awesome sniper rifle

Is it my imagination or is it taking longer and longer to start a game. It seemed as though it was only taking 2-3 mins to setup a game before. But that last couple of days it may 10 minutes. I'm not sure it's worth the wait.

I can't help but think how good this game would be if it were on a decent game engine. Arma 2 just blows! I can only assume it was for the size of the map.

Horrible luck continues. 5 deer stands (50%) chance of finding loot, Nothing!!! This freaking pissing me off. And now I've died twice from thirst, screw the zombies, I can't find coke/pepsi or a freaking canteen to save my life!

try to go into a big city on the coast and gear up at the supermarket, also go into a hospital and get some morphine and stuff.

if you go prone to get where you need to go the zombies won't see you.
