I refuse to buy anything that begins with 'i'. Usually there something cheaper and better available.

My son dropped his iphone and cracked the screen. He continued to use it until the glass started falling off. That took about 6 months. I bought him a refurbished iphone and he has not had any problems with it. He has had the refurbished one since February.

I don't know Juneau. I'm not an Apple freak, but I gotta say. When iPhone is available on Sprint, it's mine. This thing is just so kewl with the apps available I can't imagine I'll go with anything else until something better comes along.

DISCLAIMER: All this will only occur when Sprint picks up the iPhone

I had the same sentiment and I wish that were true Juneau but I have tried several devices and none of them compare to what this thing can do so when my Verizon contract runs out I will probably move to AT&T to get the i phone.

There are rumors that Verizon is going to get the iphone next year. I know some one in the Verizon hierarchy.

I have heard that rumor to but I also heard that it would be late 2010 early 2011 before they could get it up and running. What does your source say?

Now was he in sales? I heard that because it uses a different network that it could take a while to get it to work I suppose that could already be in the works though. I would LOVE to get one of theses after Xmass.

I demoed the iPhone a couple of times and to me most of the apps were useless and would be for the majority of people imo. It's almost as if they built the iPhone on the idea of 'Let's cram as much crap into it as possible. That way it'll be better than the rest'.

The aps that come with it are useless and whats worse you can't remove them. The App store has thousands of apps that really work quite well and for me the two apps that I saw being used were what I was looking for.

No but the two that I did have work amazingly and they work better then the same aps on a Crackberry or on that Windows mobile device I was using. I totally hear what you are saying about the whole marketing scam that's why I posted the hell freeze over sigh when I bought it.

The best thing about the iphone is the built-in google maps functionality. A few of my friends and coworkers have iphones and they use that all the time. It makes it so much easier to figure out where you are going. I am outside of Boston right now for work. We wanted to go to dinner at Legal Sea Foods. We didn't know where it was. He whipped out the iphone, googled it, and off we went.
