Secondly, I run it at 1280x1080 everything on high and I get almost a constant 50FPS.

and I am running on 1280x1024 with everything on high, except physix are on very high. I don't know the console commands yet, but I bet I can get it higher. Oh and no AA, haven't tried it yet. and I did turn something to medium, i cant remember what and I am up to 55FPS.

I have it. I love the single player. Any one try the MP yet?? It's pretty good, but I think it may need some patching. Any thoughts?

first person rocks!!!! ITs the quality of the intro movie in CoD4--- the entire time!


Multiplayer-

some bugs and omissions: No VOIP, no prone, the upgrade doesnt always work and you have to log out.

Positives in multiplayer:

The maps are just freakin genius.
Big enough to move cars around, small enough to make infantry happy.

I love sliding- I love running and sliding down a ditch while ripping someone up.
If you have played a lot of CoD4 you will be the top player- I was on every server I played yesterday simply because I leverage the Hard Core server experience of running silent, using the surroundings to create cover, and conserving ammo.

ALSO: Ammo dumps- GREAT IDEA. Even better? They explode -

I also like how you can ignite things that should explode- propane, gas tanks, etc.

The swap to the gunner seat on weapons cars- its not instant, which creates a balanced attack and reduces the pwnership of vehicle whores.

I give this game a 9.0- it lost a point when the didnt include prone, VOIP, and a few other things I cant remember.

It's a driver issue. He might have updated to the BETA driver from Nvidia if he has it, or he has an old video driver. Also the game asks for SP1 for Vista, which I strongly recommend against

Finally got my hands on it.

Ten minutes of gameplay and I'm already blowing people out of their jeeps with RPGs, that's just awesome.

I'm slightly disappointed with the DVD check thou, what's the point of activating your copy online if you still have to put the disc in the drive. Time to look for a crack online...

Steam solved that problem quite nicely for me.
No spyware because it is authorized via Steam

Nah, I don't like that since it takes too much HD space, I got the crack already those pirates sure are fast.

Anyway I'm having a blast online, just love chasing those snipers hiding in the bushes with the flametrower. Too bad CLR is way to busy with Crysis to play this one.
