Apparently I'm in the snow wheelhouse of the country this year (non-mountain or lake effect division).
In December we had a storm of 16.4 inches, 7th most recorded at Reagan National in DC ever. Last Saturday we hit about 7 inches, and last night about 4-5. We're now smack in the middle of the heavy prediction for the one coming Friday during the day.
Here's our percentage chances from one source, and confidence for high totals is increasing: 40% chance of 10-16 inches, and 40% chance of 16+. So pretty much 10 inches to two feet at an 80% chance.
So essentially two storms of the once per decade variety within six weeks of one another, and another 12 in between, and 6 more weeks of winter according to Phil.
The worst part by far? They're all happening on the weekends! I can't get out of work if it doesn't start snowing until late Friday or early Saturday.

P.S. There's apparently another system moving in Monday or Tuesday, but given how that's during work time, it'll probably be 2 inches or less.
