So far HC vs Vanilla

I'll be exclusively playing Vanilla when my game arrives to help get the numbers up.

Don't worry Juneau by the time I start playing this game during the weekend the vanilla server will have the usual 64/64 plays. I think the time we spent getting the BF2 servers going carries over to here

the kill cam pisses me off so much, but had a lot of fun though. hopefully I'll get all the uniforms down so I can ease off on the TKs.

After experimenting some yesterday I will not be playing on the vanilla server. HC is far more interesting to me. I just couldn't stand having to empty half a magazine into someone to kill them and I didn't notice any substantial game changes other than that.

one last gripe from me. did the chat box seem a bit too much for you folks? won't lie I'm hoping one day all the unnecessary boxes will go away (mini map n such) but like I said before even with it was still fun. (also not not a sniper lover at all. I hate everyone of them sobs, but thankfully they just kind of lay there which makes it easier to stick a knife in their neck)

I played HC last night and had a blast. I will be joining the HC server from now on.

Did you play the Beta Needle? If so is the bullet/damage ratio different in the final release?

YES! the chat box was agravating the crap out of me. I just wanna move it to another part of the screen.

Played HC with a bunch of you last night, and I was not a fan. I had a harder time taking guys down than in vanilla, no clue why. You guys totally destroyed my K/D too.

So when I was looking for a server when #2 was full, #1 has hardcore in the name, is it a HC server also?

*also, grabbed myself a 560GTX last night, went from 35fps(on low) with my 8800gt to 65fps(on high) with the 560. Not bad for a C2Q Q6600, the ol girl still has plenty of life left in her!

Juneau the mini-map is there and so is spotting in HC. Also without the constant player and vehicle regen other players have to heal you or heal the vehicles so HC is MORE teamwork dependent...

Bit off topic but i'm having trouble finding info about this. During the buildup to the beta it was noted that the PC version would feature the commo rose. Has it made its way in?

I am loving HC in BF3. So awesome! However there still is the killcam.
