So far HC vs Vanilla

I played Vanilla yesterday afternoon. I shot a tank with every rocket I had and it did not die.
I shot Phantom running straight at me and he still knifed me..

Ok, after playing HC some more, I think it is better than vanilla. However, I think that just because the vehicles in vanilla are almost indestructible. I'll take body damage either way and just adapt. But you really don't have a chance against vehicles on foot in vanilla like you can in HC.
